Following the update from the UK government on Monday 16 March, we are strongly encouraging our staff to work from home with a view to all staff doing so over the coming days. This to protect our colleagues and clients, particularly those who fall within the ‘at risk’ category.

However, our work with clients and others will continue as normal. As a result of the systems we have in place and the steps we have taken to prepare for this scenario, we expect the transition to be relatively smooth with minimal disruption to current matters. We will be available by email and phone as normal and we welcome contact from clients to discuss both existing matters and how we can help you with your response to the present situation.

What this means:

  1. All staff will remain contactable on their usual asb law numbers and email addresses.
  2. The offices will remain open in the immediate term for anyone who needs to pick-up or return documents. However, we recommend that all unnecessary visits to the asb law offices are avoided.
  3. Meetings scheduled to take place this week are currently expected to go ahead but we will continue to review the situation and update individuals as required. If you have meetings scheduled beyond this week, you will be contacted by the relevant individual who will discuss the options with you, in particular whether these meetings can go ahead using relevant technology.
  4. All asb law events scheduled to take place over the coming weeks will be reviewed and delegates will be contacted directly.
