A barrister with expertise obtained as a litigator in private practice and an all-rounder in-house across a range of industries, Sarah works closely with corporate clients both at the SME level and General Counsel of large corporations, designing and creating a range of need-focused solutions. Sarah advises business leaders and GCs on redesigning their processes to reduce cost and mitigate risk.
Sarah’s career started at 18 Red Lion Court, London (now Red Lion Chambers), where she worked for six years. During that period, she had a busy Crown Court and appellate practice and undertook secondments with the SFO, RCPO and CPS, dealing with charging advice and complex matters of disclosure.
More recently, at the independent Bar, her practice consisted of public inquiry work including two years as Junior Counsel to the Turks and Caicos Inquiry into Government Corruption. Sarah then moved in-house to the Business Software Alliance, managing revenue-driving IP enforcement programs across EMEA with a target of over $12M.
Her most recent roles with The Blair Partnership (JK Rowling’s Literary Agent and Brand Management Company) and The Markerstudy Group of Companies have had direct commercial focus and enabled her to grow her business acumen.
An advocate of legal transformation, Sarah helps drive asb law’s strategic goal to challenge the status quo in the delivery of legal services.
Sarah was called to the bar in 2004 (Middle Temple).
