Communications and Digital Executive

Main function of role:

The main function of this role is to support the Marketing and CRM Manager in coordinating and managing communications including articles, digital/social media, PR, brand and messaging and maintain the firm’s websites.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the production and distribution of articles and newsflashes
  • Quality control (proof, edit, format) on outbound documents & communications
  • Manage the firm’s external email system
  • Maintain marketing lists on CRM/email system and assist with data cleansing activities
  • Review, update and maintain the firm’s websites
  • Monitor and improve website effectiveness
  • Manage the firm’s social media accounts and develop processes for distribution of content
  • Maintain marketing materials and internal newsflashes on the intranet
  • Developing internal templates for the production of literature in-line with brand guidelines
  • Liaise with external parties in relation to legal directory submissions / PR / awards
  • Develop marketing literature in Microsoft and Adobe programmes as appropriate
  • Maintain firm’s central image bank and organise regular photography sessions
  • Manage third party supplier accounts e.g. image library, digital accounts, printers, etc
  • Produce & monitor usage of merchandise as required
  • Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Provide support and cover to other members of the team as appropriate

Do you have?

  • Minimum five years marketing experience
  • Experience of maintaining websites and content using a CMS
  • Appreciation of data management challenges and use of CRM
  • Experience in copy writing/editing and appreciation of principles of effective design/formatting
  • Experience gained in professional services or similar environment
  • Ideally, proficient in one or all Adobe graphic design suite e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Understanding of best practice in data management
  • A natural flair for marketing copy writing and communications
  • An appreciation of and interest in the use of digital and social media for business
  • Experience of working across multiple channels and managing third parties
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Understanding of design/production techniques and a good eye for detail
  • Desire to develop systems and protocols to enable efficiencies
  • Car owner/driver; willing to travel between offices as required (Crawley and Maidstone)
