asb law completes 3 deals in 1 week for Seventeen Group
The Corporate Finance team at asb law has successfully completed a hat-trick of deals for long-term insurance client Seventeen Group Ltd.
Seventeen Group has acquired the entire issued share capital of Rupert Burgoyne Limited for an undisclosed sum. The firm will be integrated within James Hallam under the brand of Hallam Burgoyne and the acquisition will add around £2.6 million of gross written premium to the group.
Seventeen Group has acquired the entire issued share capital of Complete Insurance Solutions Limited for an undisclosed sum. The firm is Scottish and will be integrated with James Hallam.
Seventeen Group has acquired Total Insurance Services Limited for an undisclosed sum. As above, the firm is Scottish and will also be integrated with James Hallam.
The acquisitions of Complete Insurance Solutions Limited and Total Insurance Services Limited build on James Hallam’s Scottish presence, following its previous acquisitions of Annandale Insurance Brokers and Westscott Insurance Brokers.
Paul Anscombe of Seventeen Group, said: “We are delighted to have completed all 3 of these deals in the same week. We remain very impressed with the expert guidance we receive from asb law and their on-going support in helping us realise our acquisitive growth strategy. They understand our business needs and work closely with us to ensure our objectives are met.”
Daniel Tozer, Solicitor, who led these deals, commented: "Seventeen Group is a longstanding and valued client of the firm and we have a great relationship. We are delighted to be able to close all three acquisitions within the same week."
Helen Mead, Partner - Head of Corporate Finance, continued: "We enjoy working with Seventeen Group as they continue on their period of growth by making strategic acquisitions within the insurance sector. We bring together our specialist experience, providing expert guidance and efficiency to support the hard work put into these transactions.”
These 3 deals follow asb's recently announced sale of Camberford Law PLC to Global Risk Partners Group and the acquisition of Training Team by the Freight Transport Association.
