asb kicks back £350 to Aylesford Bulls RFC

Presentation to Aylesford Bulls RFCThe latest gathering of Kent’s 5:50 club played the backdrop for a  presentation which saw Frank Prescott, Chairman of Aylesford Bulls RFC, receive a £350 cheque from Ron Bryant, Managing Director of Delron Services Limited. The donation was the first of its kind from the Rugby Kicker Scheme ran by Maidstone-based law firm, asb law LLP.

Launched in this rugby world cup year, the Rugby Kicker Scheme is open to members of any affiliated rugby club in Kent. For every legal matter instructed to asb law, whether personal or business related, 10% of the fees charged (terms and conditions apply) are donated to the club of choice to help them develop talent at a grass roots level, both on and off the field.

Speaking of his delight, Frank Prescott said: “It is an honor to accept this kind donation on behalf of the club.  Donations such as this really do go a long way in helping to support our operation and further assist our grass roots development work.”

Commenting on the initiative, senior partner, Russell Bell said:  "At asb law we take our commitment to our local communities seriously, and it’s great to be able to combine that with a real passion for sport.

“I am delighted to see Aylesford Bulls benefiting from the scheme - we know how much hard work goes into the organisation of local rugby clubs and how difficult it can be to raise funds to support their efforts.  The outcomes though are incredibly rewarding, developing youngsters who accept sport's key values of commitment, teamwork and integrity, all of which help them become outstanding adults who in turn make their own contributions to society.

“I do hope that members of other affiliated clubs will participate in the scheme so that the club of their choice can also enjoy the benefits."
