Lyndsey Ratcliffe, a rising star in the world of dispute resolution according to the leading legal directories, has been promoted to Partner at asb law LLP.

Ratcliffe trained with the firm, qualifying in 2005, and becoming an Associate in 2008.  She deals with a broad range of commercial disputes involving complex, high value matters with particular expertise in intellectual property and fraud.

“It’s always good news when we are able to promote home grown talent,” according to Russell Bell, asb’s senior partner.  “Lyndsey is a valuable member of the team, a great ambassador for the firm, and her promotion is richly deserved.  She’s held in very high regard by clients and colleagues alike thanks to the calm and considered approach she takes to very complex issues.”

Ratcliffe’s colleague in the dispute resolution division is also celebrating her promotion to Associate.  Tania Clench joined asb in 2005 and handles a wide range of commercial litigation and insolvency work, including managing the team that acts on behalf of DBIS in relation to directors’ disqualification proceedings.

“Tania already deals with some of our key clients and is known for her no-nonsense, sensible approach.  She is also recognised as an expert in insolvency matters by independent researchers,” according to Bell.  “I’m sure both will play a key role in the future development of the firm.”
