Acquisition and disposal of residential development site

We advised an entrepreneurial developer on the sale of a residential site to a housebuilder in Kent for £4.2million, having originally advised on the acquisition of the site and on planning and the subsequent re-gearing of the s106 agreement to take account of a reduced level of affordable housing on a reduced density scheme.

The sale was subject to completion of remediation of the site and to an escrow arrangement securing the completion of commercial units on a linked site under the s106 agreement.
