Children
Whenever a relationship breaks down, the welfare of the children must come first.
Ideally, the separating parents come to an amicable arrangement that suits everyone. Sadly, we don’t live in an ideal world. All sorts of issues can arise and cause further distress, such as questions over where the children will live and how often they see the other parent and extended family.
If you need some help in reaching an agreement, we will consider the options and advise you on the best course of action to suit your circumstances, including mediation.
Unfortunately there are times when the children’s best interests can only be served by the intervention of the court. When this is the case, we apply our skills to conducting child-related court applications, and supporting you through the process.
Our team includes an accredited Children Specialist and a member of the Family Law Panel. Each of our family lawyers is a member of Resolution and has experience of dealing with disputes between parents. Open the Resolution guide 'Separating Together' by clicking here.
