The year has seen us handle litigated claims for major clients including many local councils in claims ranging from contested fast track liability claims to catastrophic claims. We also defend claims for schools and colleges.

In addition to local authorities we have also been instructed by a number of private companies, largely in respect of employer’s liability matters or travel claims.

Head of the team, Francis Lacy Scott, is Chairman of Sussex Acquired Brain Injury Forum (SABIF) and Chair of Headway Hurstwood Park, a leading brain injury charity.  He is also a trained mediator in ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution).
