If you think your employer is taking steps to dismiss you then you’ll want to know what you can do about it and how you can protect your position.
Your employer should:
- have a fair reason to dismiss you
- follow a fair process
Sometimes employers will dismiss you unfairly because they don’t think you’ll pursue the matter further. Or, they may just think they have done things correctly.
We’ll let you know if your employer has been fair and, if they haven’t, we can advise on what you can do about it.
Whether it’s negotiating an exit package or issuing a Tribunal claim for unfair dismissal we know that you will want your matter dealt with by lawyers who are open with you.
You need to know your prospects of success and any likely financial return.
You’ll also want the matter dealt with as quickly as possible to enable you to move on and concentrate on your future.
If believe you may have been treated unfairly and would like to talk it through with someone, it's important that you act now.
