Michael has over 30 years’ experience in property work, specialising in development and planning matters, landlord and tenant, and commercial and industrial lettings particularly for the charity and not-for-profit sectors. Michael has extensive experience of major and complex property work with particular expertise in transactions with an education, charity or licensing aspect.
For some years he was Diocesan Solicitor for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, which included 84 schools in which the Diocese had an interest. He also dealt with transfers and an amalgamation with an Anglican church aided school.
Recognised for many years as a leading commercial real estate practitioner in the south east, Michael is a past President of the Sussex Law Society and a former trustee of Webb Memorial Trust. He is also a governor of Varndean Sixth Form College, and formerly Chairman of Burgess Hill School for Girls.
