Commercial litigation lawyer providing advice on avoiding and fighting complex commercial disputes as well as handling fraud or regulatory investigations
Richard specialises in aviation and travel disputes, and is an expert in fraud investigation, regulatory and financial disputes, and disciplinary work. Before joining asb law, Richard spent time running an enforcement team at the Financial Services Authority in London.
Richard has considerable experience of urgent injunctive work, reacting quickly to help protect clients’ business and assets. He also provides advice to clients on planning to avoid disputes and preventing fraud and other misconduct.
He is focussed on setting and achieving clear commercial objectives for clients rather than blindly churning through ordinary litigious processes. To do this, Richard likes to develop a deep understanding of his client’s business and people, and provides an outsourced in-house counsel service where appropriate.
Richard is a member of the Fraud Advisory Panel and ISTAT.
