Philip advises on all aspects of estate planning, the objective of which is to protect, enhance and pass on assets tax efficiently in line with each individual’s priorities and concerns. Amongst other things, estate planning is concerned with inheritance tax and capital gains tax mitigation.
Philip spent more than 10 years working as an in-house lawyer with large national and international accountancy practices before becoming a partner in a Kent law firm in 1999. He joined asb in March 2011. His client base includes a large number of high net worth clients, including a significant number based in London. In conjunction with other advisers where appropriate, Philip deals with all aspects of capital taxes estate planning.
Philip is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
