John’s background is in litigation and with more than 35 years’ experience in matrimonial law, he deals with a wide range of family related matters from straightforward divorce and separation to intricate financial claims. John also deals with complex cases involving children, and has represented clients at every level in Courts across the region and in London.
In contentious probate he has considerable experience in dealing with disputes over the validity of wills and disputes with Executors, either acting for or against them over the administration of estates.
Having been a partner with the firm for almost 25 years John is a well known and respected figure within the local community. He is a member of Resolution and an accredited expert on the Law Society Family Panel. He also has considerable experience as a registered deputy appointed by the Office of the Public Guardian in the management of the affairs of vulnerable people.
