Greg has over 10 years’ experience of just about all aspects of employment law.
With a focus on advising senior executives and HR professionals on their organisations’ people issues, Greg will initially work on getting a clear understanding of the company’s commercial objectives in order to offer genuinely pragmatic commercial solutions, communicated in a direct and jargon-free way.
Most recently Greg has been helping his private and public sector clients on a wide variety of Tribunal claims, on restructuring and change management projects, as well as on business transfers both in relation to outsourcing and business disposals. He has significant experience of dealing with the complexities of restrictive covenants, and dealing with issues arising from alleged thefts and misuse of confidential information.
Dealing with complex remuneration packages and exit structures has led to Greg working with numerous senior executives in helping them to manage and maximise their exits from Board-level positions.
Greg has been involved in litigation in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal, Court of Appeal and the High Court. He has appeared as advocate in cases of unfair dismissal, TUPE, and the full spectrum of discrimination claims.
Greg is heavily involved in the business community in the south east, and is a member of the Gatwick Diamond Overview Forum. He is a founding member of the Kent and Gatwick 5:50 Groups, exclusive invitation-only membership organisations for owners of mid-sized corporates. Greg is also a Trustee of Active Sussex, the organisation which drives increased participation in able-bodied and disability sport throughout Sussex.
