Advises on tax planning, trust and estate administration and asset protection with particular interest and experience in the needs of vulnerable people and their families
In addition to his general private client work, advising on Wills, trusts and estate administration, Glen has developed particular expertise acting on behalf of vulnerable people and their families and carers. He heads our specialist team that services this sector, and is one of only 60 approved deputies in the country on the Court of Protection panel of approved deputies.
Glen also supports charities in administering legacies, bequests and estates left to them. He provides advice on charitable relief for IHT, as well as on the incidence of IHT, CGT and Income Tax during the administration of trusts and estates. He also provides training and support for legacy officers.
Glen acts as honorary solicitor to Citizens Rights for Older People, a Kent-based charity, and regularly speaks to a wide range of interest groups, local authorities and charities. He is a recommended adviser for Mencap.
