Andy’s main focus is on advising businesses and charities in financial distress, and in relation to the investigations and claims that can arise when they enter formal insolvency. He has a wealth of experience in advising directors, partners, and trustees, helping to protect them from personal liability. He has developed particular expertise in relation to the insolvency of Limited Liability Partnerships. Andy has also acted in respect of a number of high profile bankruptcies.
In addition to holding an Insolvency Practitioners licence since 1987, Andy is a Fellow of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, and a member of the Insolvency Law Association. He has written for LexisNexis on insolvent LLPs, Tolley’s Insolvency Law on bankruptcy, and Insolvency Intelligence.

In the real world … Andy has played the trombone in a brass band since childhood, appearing on TV and even the big screen. His band has qualified twice in recent years for the finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
