Andrew genuinely believes that there is a better way to deliver legal services and, over the last five years, has applied much time, energy and resource in support of his convictions. He spends a lot of his time listening to the buyers of legal services and exploring how other industries have adapted in order to service their clients more effectively. His pioneering philosophy encourages creativity and a questioning culture and has inspired the firm to apply commercial solutions in driving efficiencies through continuous improvement methodologies and effective resource allocation. His vision is to build a law firm that is truly designed around the needs of its clients.
Andrew is a highly experienced litigator with a broad technical expertise encompassing large scale and complex matters, often involving cross-jurisdictional issues.
In 2016 Andrew was named as one of The Lawyer's Hot 100 - a list which gathers together the cream of the crop from in-house, private practice and the bar. Featuring in the management category, The Lawyer’s report describes Andrew as asb law’s “secret weapon”. Having devoted much of his time over recent years to understanding the market and what clients really want, Andrew has spearheaded the firm’s innovative approach to the delivery of legal services, which in turn has helped to position asb law as a “regional trailblazer”.
