Katie joined the claims team of asb law in 2004.  Since 2007 she has worked exclusively within the brain injury team of asb aspire, a specialist division dealing specifically with brain and catastrophic injuries, gaining experience of a significant number of high value cases.

Katie’s particular interests also extend to road traffic accident claims, and claims made to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority following acts of violence.

She works closely with the Vulnerable People team to assist those who lack the capacity to manage their own affairs.

Katie has been actively involved in helping to administer the Sussex Acquired Brain Injury Forum (SABIF) for a number of years, and also acts as a volunteer for the Headway Support Group in Brighton, a group run to support hose who have suffered a brain injury.  Katie also has experience of working closely with Victim Support.

She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Legal Executives and is currently studying to become a fully qualified legal executive.

In the real world … Katie spends much of her spare time with friends and family.  She enjoys going to the gym, interior design, gardening and skiing.
