Jane’s broad experience spans the whole range of employment law advice. She has expertise in drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, ad hoc policies and staff handbooks, and on advising on business re-organisation and re-structures, mergers, acquisitions and management buy-outs. Jane advises clients throughout the redundancy process, on TUPE matters and on advising both claimants and respondents through the Tribunal process; she also advises on disciplinary and grievance procedures and compromise agreements. Jane has a special interest in advising on business immigration, and assisting clients with the implications of the Agency Worker Regulations.
Jane also works with our public sector specialists and advises on restructuring and re-organisation within local authorities, which often includes advising on TUPE issues and the incorporation of shared service functions.
Jane is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and regularly attends their training and marketing sessions.

In the real world … Jane has a real passion for travel and especially likes to explore the culture and hospitality of Mexico which she has visited on many occasions. She is also a keen reader and enjoys a good crime novel – if there’s a beach handy, so much the better! The opportunities don’t present themselves too often as she’s very likely to be found racing around the local parks and soft-play areas with her young daughter.
Year of qualification: 2006 as a solicitor, having qualified as a Legal Executive in 2004.
