Aviation law specialist advising on all aspects of aviation
Daniel’s interest in aviation stretches back to his childhood - attending air shows, constantly reading about aircraft and excitedly watching the runway with face pressed hard against the glass at airport windows. Nothing has changed!
Daniel joined asb in 2002 and now works exclusively on aviation related matters. His experience in this sector extends to both contentious and non-contentious work. Daniel has also gained invaluable industry experience whilst on secondment at a major international cargo airline.
Daniel represents clients in contractual disputes for supplies of parts and services, in addition to the recovery of monies across varying jurisdictions for aircraft parts and maintenance suppliers, engine lessors and aircraft lessors. He also has experience in connection with international arbitration and insurance disputes in relation to the loss of aircraft in foreign jurisdictions.
Daniel’s non-contentious work involves acting for banks, sellers, buyers, lessees and lessors in drafting and advising on numerous transactional and operational documents including wet and dry leases, charters and sale and purchase agreements.
Daniel received a distinction in the IATA Air Transportation exam, and is a member of ISTAT and the Aviation Club of the UK.
