Your training contract with us

During the course of a two-year training contract with asb you’ll get a real flavour for the diverse nature of the law, experiencing seats in four different practice areas.  In each one you’ll get the support and guidance to empower you to take an active, practical role in the department’s work.  You are also likely to gain valuable sector experience which will assist you in your career later on.

Working closely with partners and the other members of your team, you have the opportunity to develop the practical skills that will see you through your career – such as managing transactions, negotiation and communication.

Whether working with commercial clients or private individuals, you will have plenty of individual responsibility and the opportunity to develop real client relationships.

Of course we’ll take a keen interest in your progress, and you’re assured of continual feedback, support and advice throughout your training contract, and the majority of trainees do actually remain with the firm once qualified.
