Charities HR forum, Maidstone - focussing on Managing Ill health

We are delighted to announce the autumn meeting of the HR Charities Forum, for those working in HR in the voluntary, charities and not-for-profit sector.

From feedback we have received from you, one of the most disheartening and time consuming activities of an HR professional, is managing employees' sickness absence.   At this forum, we will talk through how you can manage sickness absence in order to minimise cost, disruption to business and the risk of legal claims.

We will cover:

  • obtaining and making the best use of medical reports
  • following a fair procedure
  • dealing with potential disability discrimination issues

We will also be seeking your views on issues to discuss at future forums so that together we will be able to share ideas, challenges and solutions.
