This workshop, based on several case studies, is aimed at line managers who want to improve their understanding of their role and responsibilities as a manager.
Participants will be able to share their own experiences and concerns in a safe environment, learn practical ways of dealing with the situations discussed and enhance their understanding of key legal principles which underpin good practice when it comes to managing a team.

Disciplinary situations and how to handle a hearing
Grievances
Sickness/attendance problems
Managing performance
